Delete Your Billee Account
You can request deletion of your Billee account and associated data at any time.
How to request deletion
- In the Billee app, open Profile, find Account, and choose Request Account Deletion.
- Alternatively, email [email protected] with the subject Billee account deletion request.
- Include the phone number used for your Billee account, any Gmail address connected to Billee, and any other email address that may help us identify your account.
- We will contact you if we need more information to verify the request before deletion.
Data deleted with your account
After we verify the request, deletion from Billee's active production systems covers data associated with your account, including:
- your Billee sign-in account and profile;
- user-owned bill records, extracted bill details, email records, and stored bill documents;
- Gmail OAuth tokens, Gmail connection records, and your mailbox membership;
- notification device tokens and directly identifying user statistics; and
- other user-owned records required to operate your Billee account.
Data that may be retained
We may retain the minimum information required for legal obligations, security, fraud or abuse prevention, dispute resolution, and operational audit requirements. Data in backups, logs, analytics, or third-party processor systems may remain until it expires under the applicable retention schedule. Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you may also be retained.
If your connected Gmail mailbox is shared with another active Billee user, mailbox-owned bills or records may remain available to that user. We remove your membership and access as part of your account deletion.
Disconnecting Gmail is different
Disconnecting Gmail stops future Gmail sync but does not by itself delete bill records already created in Billee. Request account deletion if you want your Billee account and associated data deleted.
